A special episode of Seth MacFarlane's Family Guy finally dismissed the long-held theory that Stewie Griffin is gay. The hit show has aired since , focussing on the dysfunctional Griffin family in the adult cartoon.
By Lewis Corner. In the landmark episode — titled Send in Stewie, Please — Ian McKellen voiced his psychologist, as the one-year-old cartoon character came to terms with his sexuality. Not that anybody at this school would care.
Stewie is shown to hate gay people in some episodes like " Road to Rhode Island " where he asks why everyone comes out to him, and in " Mr. Griffin Goes to Washington " he says "not ass you pervert save it for the interns".

After 19 years of Family Guy, the long-running cartoon TV series finally revealed the sexuality - and real voice - of Stewie Griffin.
Stewie is Gay is a recurring element in Family Guy , wherein numerous jokes and scenes imply that Stewie Griffin is a closeted or open homosexual. These moments turn out to be more than just jokes, as they would soon come to become part of his character. In later seasons of the show, Stewie's gay jokes would become more and more prominent, while his Matricide Attempts and his villainous tendencies would slowly fade into obscurity.
And while he never quite comes out as gay, there is a lot to suggest what an older Stewie might be facing, or repressing, when it comes to his sexuality.
